Simchat Torah Celebration and Oneg with Rabbi Ruthie
Sunday evening October 20th, 7-9 PM
Angler Mountain Ranch Yacht Club
367 Fly Line Drive, Silverthorne, CO 80498

Join us for a fun-filled celebration of the completion of the annual reading of the Torah. We’ll be taking the Torah scrolls from the Ark and dancing around the room with them as we affirm Torah as one of the pillars on which we build our lives.

During the Torah service, the concluding section of the fifth book of the Torah, D’varim (Deuteronomy), is read, and immediately following, the opening section of B’reishit (Genesis) is read. This practice represents the cyclical nature of the relationship between the Jewish people and the reading of the Torah.

Honey treats and mini-torahs for children.
Oneg to follow.
